Lompoc Housing Agency Circles the Drain and Puts Affordable Units at Risk

The Lompoc Housing and Community Development Corporation can’t account for cash and is seeing a creditor file a foreclosure on some of its units. The County of Santa Barbara, as its lead agency is in the crossfire.

Our 3rd and final survey of inclusionary ordinances. The County itself has responded to the recession by easing requirements and Atascadero may headed in a similar direction.

Census Releases Marriage, Income, Unemployment, Transit Stats from their ACS Survey

The recession does not reflect kindly on marriage – and the rift between rich and poor has increased. Other data reflect decreasing home ownership and increases in crowded housing.
